Israeli president holds off on Netanyahu pardon, pushes for possible plea deal in corruption cases Israeli President Isaac Herzog has decided not to grant an immediate pardon to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in his long-running corruption case, instead signaling support for efforts to pursue a potential plea agreement. Netanyahu has been on trial for six years, facing charges of bribery, fraud, and breach of trust across three separate cases. He has denied any wrongdoing and has described the proceedings as a “witch hunt.” Herzog has faced pressure from Netanyahu, his political allies, and U.S. President Donald Trump to issue a pardon, but has instead opted to encourage negotiations. FBI,TO RESCUE ABDUCTED CHIBOK SCHOOL GIRLS.

           According to sources,the United States have called in the help of the FBI to find more than 200 school girls abducted by terrorist group boko haram at Chibok,Borno state.Attorney General Erick Holder said the U.S was sending FBI agents to trace the girls as grief stricken families took to the streets in protest over the in action of the Nigerian government and military to find their loved ones.Secretary of state John Kerry said while visiting the Democratic Republic of Congo,that ''The kidnapping of hundreds of children by boko haram is an unconscionable crime,and we will do everything possible to support the Nigerian government to return these young women to their homes''.Goodluck Jonathan said ''We promise that anywhere the girls are,we'll surely get them out''.Goodluck  asked the U.S,Britain,France and China for help to fight against boko haram and dismissed claims his government was negotiating with the group.
