 Setting the Records Straight on  Citizen Asar Michael Sesugh's  Death The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,  EFCC,  considered it imperative to clear the air on some recent incidents at its Makurdi Zonal Directorate,  Benue State.   Operatives of the Directorate arrested 26 suspected cyber fraudsters on April 28,  2026.  They were profiled and kept in custody for further investigations after obtaining a Remand Order at a Magistrate Court.  Shortly after their arrest,  specifically on May 4,  2026,  three of the suspects sought permission to use the lavatory at the Directorate's  Holding Facility and were permitted.   They cashed in on the opportunity,  broke the toilet's roof and escaped from detention.  Several efforts were made to re- arrest them to no avail. FEMALE KIDNAPPER,SET ABLAZE AT ABULE EGBA.

Crowd on Ekoro Road, Lagos, where a woman was set ablaze while attempting to kidnap three kids            According to sources,jungle justice was done to a woman today,who was suspected to have kidnapped three children.She was set ablaze by angry mobs at Ekoro road at Abule Egba area of Lagos.The incident occured around at 7.am today.Eye witnesses claimed that the woman allegedly kidnapped three children who were on their way to school in the area,before a bread seller raised the alarm as the suspect tried to escape from the scene.The woman was beaten up before youths in the area hung a tyre on her neck,poured petrol on her and set her ablaze.
