 FG reaffirms commitment to North-East inclusion in Agro-Industrial Project amid exclusion claims The Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security has dismissed concerns raised by the North-East Caucus of the National Assembly regarding the alleged exclusion of the region from the Federal Government's flagship agricultural initiative the Special Agro-Industrial Processing Zone (SAPZ) program. The minister of agriculture and food security Sen. Abubakar Kyari made the clarification over the weekend while briefing the media. He noted that the North-East is not only included in the SAPZ program, but that several states from the region have already met the eligibility criteria for the second phase of the project. The response comes on the heels of public criticisms sparked by the recent groundbreaking ceremonies in Kaduna and Cross River states. IS THE MILITARY GIVEN OUT TOO MUCH INFORMATION?.

              Yesterday the Chief of Defence Staff Air Marshal Alex Badeh said ''The good news for the parents of the girls is that we know where they are but cannot tell you.But where they are held,can we go there with force?.We can't kill our girls in the name of trying to get them back''.I question the fact that the military know where they are and if they do and they can't rescue them,why are they telling us?.Don't you think the military in the process of being transparent with their operations is giving out too much information?.With these new information about the location of the girls,don't you think they have put Boko Haram on notice and making boko haram more prepared for them than ever and even putting the Chibok missing girls in more danger.Please i will like the military in charge of these information to be more discreet with information.               Air Chief Marshal Alex Badeh

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up. The Appellant is an actor. He acted in a script that he was invited to act by his colleague (PW1), Damilola Adekoya,” he said.
