 FIRST IMPORTED EBOLA CASE: NIGERIA EVACUATES INDEX CASE TO SWITZERLAND AS CONTAINMENT MEASURES CONTINUE The Nigeria’s confirmed Ebola index case has been medically evacuated from Abuja to Switzerland, following approval by the Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Professor Muhammad Ali Pate. The forty-two-year-old patient, whose case marked Nigeria’s first imported Ebola virus disease case, was transferred alongside her spouse, who has remained asymptomatic. In a statement posted on his X handle, Professor Pate said the patient was clinically much improved, stable, conscious and able to communicate, with laboratory test results approaching baseline levels. However, the Minister cautioned that the patient’s clinical improvement does not necessarily mean she is no longer infectious, stressing that strict public health protocols remain in place.               Yesterday the Chief of Defence Staff Air Marshal Alex Badeh said ''The good news for the parents of the girls is that we know where they are but cannot tell you.But where they are held,can we go there with force?.We can't kill our girls in the name of trying to get them back''.I question the fact that the military know where they are and if they do and they can't rescue them,why are they telling us?.Don't you think the military in the process of being transparent with their operations is giving out too much information?.With these new information about the location of the girls,don't you think they have put Boko Haram on notice and making boko haram more prepared for them than ever and even putting the Chibok missing girls in more danger.Please i will like the military in charge of these information to be more discreet with information.               Air Chief Marshal Alex Badeh
