 GOVERNOR ABBA  YUSUF SACKS  KANO STATE HEAD OF SERVICE   The Executive Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has relieved the State Head of Service, Abdullahi Musa, of his appointment with immediate effect. In a statement  by the Director General, Media and Publicity to the Governor, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the decision is part of the ongoing efforts by the present administration to reposition the state civil service for greater efficiency, discipline, and improved service delivery across all government institutions. Governor Yusuf expressed appreciation to the outgoing Head of Service for his contributions and dedication to the service of the State  The statement further directed that Bilkisu Shehu Maimota, the Permanent Secretary, Admin and General Services at the Cabinet Office, to serve in an  acting capacity pending the appointment of a substantive Head of Service. MALI SOLDIERS CLASH WITH REBELS TODAY.

             According to sources,machine gun and heavy weapons fire,broke out today wednesday in the northern Mali town of Kidal,a rebel strong hold where the army has been reinforcing it's positions ahead of an expected drive to retake it.An army officer and a resident said ''As you can hear,gun fires has started up again between the soldiers and rebels in Kindal.I can't say more about it''.I don't know what is wrong with Africa?,everywhere is just on fire.
