 Group demands declaration of Aba North Assembly seat vacant, threatens protest A group known as the Coalition of Aba North Ethnic Youth Groups has mandated the Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly, Emmanuel Emereuwa to declare the Aba North seat vacant in seven days. The Aba North seat has been a subject of controversy since November 27, 2023, when the Court of Appeal sitting in Lagos sacked Destiny Nwagwu of LP and declared Aaron Uzodike of the PDP, the duly elected member to represent Aba North. However, the seat has remained unoccupied since November 2023, as Uzodike of PDP has not been inaugurated by the Speaker, despite his several appeals. A fresh controversy erupted Friday, as the Coalition of Aba North Ethnic Youths Groups, asked the Speaker to declare the seat vacant within seven days or expect a city-wide protest in Aba. 1578 CHRISTIAN SKELETONS,FOUND UNDER THE STREETS OF ROME.

In 1578 in Rome were discovered catacombs: in them, skeletons of martyrs that were later on sent across Europe to be adorned with jewels and placed in their designated churches. But where are they know? Art Historian Paul Koudounaris found out for us and told us in a just released book Heavenly Bodies: Cult Treasures and Spectacular Saints.            The labyrinthine structure revealed,containing many skeletons of early christian martyrs called saints because of their alleged miracles performed by them or their mission to support and spread christianity.The location was renamed the Catacomb saints and many of the skeletons were sent across Europe mainly Germany as a substitute for all the rekics that got damaged or stolen during the protestant reformation.When the skeletons reached their designated countries,they were clothed with precious jewels and then exhibited inside churches serving as a reminder of death and therefore to the necessity to devote one's life to God.These pictures were taken by Paul Koudounaris who tavelled round the continent to find out what was left of the skeletons.More photos below.                                                                                                       In 1578 in Rome were discovered catacombs: in them, skeletons of martyrs that were later on sent across Europe to be adorned with jewels and placed in their designated churches. Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
