 PRESS RELEASE  FG Commends  Diaspora Healthcare Professionals' Medical Missions to Nigeria  The Federal Government has commended efforts by diaspora based Nigerian healthcare professionals to improve healthcare in Nigeria, emphasizing it's crucial support to enhance its sustainability. Dr. Iziaq Adekunle Salako Honourable Minister of State for Health & Social Welfare stated at the gala night of the just concluded Association of Nigerian Physicians in Americas (ANPA)  31st Annual Scientific Convention / 30 years anniversary celebration held at Eko Hotel, Victoria Island Lagos. 2 BENIN MORTUARY ATTENDANTS,STOLE FROM A DEAD WOMAN.

           The accused,50 year old Osaro Benjamin and 26 years old Idowu Eriemator,both employees of Stella Obasanjo Hospital in Benin,allegedly conspired and committed the offence on 12 May 2014,at thw morgue of the hospital,located along County Home road off Sapele road.They both stole from one late Mrs Esther Akora.They stole her gold earrings,gold necklace and a gold wedding ring all valued at N4million.They were both arraigned before a magistrate court for conspiracy and stealing.They both pleaded not guilty.The magistrate granted both of them bail but not withstanding,If they are both convicted,they could face two to three years jail term.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
