  Tragedy Strikes As Promising Councillor Hon. Chukwuma Okpalauzuegbu Is Laid To Rest On Intended wedding Day  By Charity Ejiofor  A day that was meant to mark a joyful union has instead become one of deep sorrow for family, friends, and the Aguata community, following the sudden passing of Hon. Chukwuma Christopher Okpalauzuegbu, the councillor representating Amesi Ward. Hon. Okpalauzuegbu fondly known as Chuma, had been preparing to celebrate his wedding ceremony, an event filled with hope, promise and carefully laid plans. Loved ones, and sponsors, ready to stand beside him as he embark on a new chapter of life. In an unexpected and heart breaking turn of events, those dreams were cut short. 60 AFRICANS AND 2 YEMEN CREW,DROWNED OFF YEMEN.

          According to the United Nations,at least 60 African migrants and two Yemeni crew perished in water off Yemen's coast last weekend,in a boat sinking that has just come to light and is believed to be the deadliest this year.The UNHCR spokesman Adrain Edwards said in Geneva ''we are still seeking information but it is now confirmed that a boat carrying 60 people from Somalia and Ethiopia and two Yemeni crew sank last Saturday in the Red sea.The tragedy is the largest single loss of life this year of migrants and refugees attempting to reach Yemen via the Red sea and the Gulf of Aden''.
