 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. BIAFRAN GROUP ATTEMPTED TO SEIZE TV STATION IN ENUGU.

•Onwuka, founder, Biafra Zionist Movement              According to sources,at least 20 members of the pro-Biafra group,Biafra Zionist Movement,BZM,led by arrister Benjamin Onwuka today thursday,launched an attack on the Enugu state broad casting Service,ESBS,ut the seccesimist group's attempts to make a live broadcast was foiled by security operatives.The incident which occured at about 6am,resulted in a fierce gun battle during which a policeman and a member of the group were killed.An eye witness said two members were arrested by the police while some people passing by were also arrested for questioning.Onwuka and many of his men had escaped before the policemen arrived.Onwuka's mission to the TV station was to make a live broadcast having declared himself leader of the new Biafran Republic last year.Onwuka and 12 members of his group has been arrested,after a hot chase.
