 Setting the Records Straight on  Citizen Asar Michael Sesugh's  Death The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,  EFCC,  considered it imperative to clear the air on some recent incidents at its Makurdi Zonal Directorate,  Benue State.   Operatives of the Directorate arrested 26 suspected cyber fraudsters on April 28,  2026.  They were profiled and kept in custody for further investigations after obtaining a Remand Order at a Magistrate Court.  Shortly after their arrest,  specifically on May 4,  2026,  three of the suspects sought permission to use the lavatory at the Directorate's  Holding Facility and were permitted.   They cashed in on the opportunity,  broke the toilet's roof and escaped from detention.  Several efforts were made to re- arrest them to no avail. BIAFRAN GROUP ATTEMPTED TO SEIZE TV STATION IN ENUGU.

•Onwuka, founder, Biafra Zionist Movement              According to sources,at least 20 members of the pro-Biafra group,Biafra Zionist Movement,BZM,led by arrister Benjamin Onwuka today thursday,launched an attack on the Enugu state broad casting Service,ESBS,ut the seccesimist group's attempts to make a live broadcast was foiled by security operatives.The incident which occured at about 6am,resulted in a fierce gun battle during which a policeman and a member of the group were killed.An eye witness said two members were arrested by the police while some people passing by were also arrested for questioning.Onwuka and many of his men had escaped before the policemen arrived.Onwuka's mission to the TV station was to make a live broadcast having declared himself leader of the new Biafran Republic last year.Onwuka and 12 members of his group has been arrested,after a hot chase.
