 So Linus Williams (Blord) has been released from Kuje prison after fulfilling his bail conditions, finally, freedom after a few weeks in custody. However, here’s the current position of his case:  He is still expected to show up and stand his trial.  If he fails to appear in court even for one day, his bail can be revoked and a bench warrant may be issued against him, meaning a return to Kuje. If the prosecution cannot prove the charges against him, he will be discharged and acquitted. If the prosecution proves the charges, he may be sentenced and sent back to Kuje. I think he should seek a peaceful resolution to the case. Congrats to him on his freedom for now.

DAY 2 & YOUTHS IN KANO STILL PROTESTING AGAINST SANUSI AS THEIR EMIR?

             Today monday,hundreds of youths in Kano protested against the decision to appoint Nigeria former Central Bank Governor Lamido Sanusi.Everybody was expecting the throne to be passed from father to son as a sign of stability.Protesters backing the late Emirs son Lamido Ado Bayero chanted ''Ba ma son'' meaning we don't want in hausa languafe and Kariyawe meaning it's a lie near the emirs palace in Kano.Witnesses claimed that Sanusi is only a nephew not a son to the late emir.The youths are going wild about the choice of emir.They stopped vehicles and insisted they put tree branches on their cars as a sign of solidarity.The crowd tore up pictures of the governor Rabiu Kwankwaso,who with the state authorities made the final decision to appoint Sanusi and attack anyone they thought had supported the decision.
