 Mirra Andreeva wins French Open at 19, becomes youngest women’s champion since Monica Seles   Russian tennis star Mirra Andreeva completed a breakout run at the French Open on Saturday, defeating Polish qualifier Maja Chwalinska 6-3, 6-2 to capture her first Grand Slam title at age 19. Andreeva, who was already regarded as a prodigy after emerging on the WTA Tour as a teenager, became the youngest women’s singles champion since Monica Seles, who was 18 when she won her third straight French Open in 1992. Ranked eighth in the world, she controlled the final in Paris, taking command after dropping just a few early games. The match shifted decisively when Andreeva won nine consecutive games to seize control, eventually closing out the victory with a backhand winner on match point before falling to her knees in celebration on the clay. SUSPECTED ISLAMIST MALI JAIL BREAK FUGITIVE,MAHAMED ARRESTED .

            Officials disclosed that Mali security forces have arrested Mahamed Aly Ag Wadoussene,a fugitive at the heart of a jail break in Mali's capital on June 16,in which at least two people were killed and 22 prisoners escaped.Ag Wadoussene who shot his way out of prison,was being held for his alleged role in the 2011 kidnapping of two French citizens who ended up in the hand of Al Qaeda's in North Africa.Army spokesman Major Modibo Traore,confirmed the arrest and saying ''Mahamed Aly Ag Wadoussene was arrested in Bamako.We knew he was going to try and contact his girlfriend,who lives with a family in Bamako''.Ag Wadoussene was arrested on tuesday night at Hamdalaye neigborhood in the Malian capital.

    is the picture in this story the prison? i mean cos a dude does not have to shoot his way out, pushing down the wall will be less messy and what a dumb move on the part of the escapee. didn't he learn a thing from watching #PrisonBreak ?
