 LASG ISSUES TRAFFIC ADVISORY AHEAD OF FANTI CARNIVAL The Lagos State Government has announced traffic diversions and restrictions ahead of the Lagos Fanti Carnival scheduled to hold on Monday, 6th April, 2026, around Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos Island. In a bid to ensure a seamless and hitch-free carnival procession, vehicular movement will be restricted along major adjoining roads linking TBS. Affected Routes are; King George V Road (by Mobil Filling Station), Flag House inbound TBS, Force Road inbound TBS, Onikan Roundabout inbound TBS, and WaterBoy Roundabout by Old Defence House. Additionally, all link roads to Moloney Road, such as Military Road (by Old Defence Building), Ajasa Street, Boyle Street, and Hawley Street, will be closed to traffic during the event. To ease parking challenges, designated car parks have been arranged for public use, these include; the Yoruba Lawn Tennis Club Car Park, Zone 2 Car Park (opposite Island Club along King George V Road), Museum Kit...

Better haircare: A petition has been launched asking Beyonce and Jay Z to comb their two-year-old daughter Blue Ivy's hair (pictured in April 2013)              A woman named Jamine Toliver and thousand of U.S citizens has petitioned Beyonce and Jay Z to comb their two year old daughter Blue Ivy's hair that the hair is unkept and looks like that of a sheep.Jamine Toliver opened a webpage for the petition and the content of the petition states that ''As a woman who understands the importance of hair care,it's disturbing to watch a child suffering from lack of hair moisture.The parents of Blue Ivy,Sean Carter A.KA Jay Z and Beyonce have failed at numerous attempts of doing Blue Ivy's hair.This matter has escalated to the child developing matted dreads and lint balls.Please let's get the word out to properly care for Blue Ivy hair''.Even Wendy Williams have spoken about Blue Ivy's unkept hair.Thousands have signed these petition.She called Kim's Kardashian wedding tacky now her child's hair is in question.She looks so beautiful on the red carpet,but her child's hair can't be as beautiful as her own.I support these petition,barb or plait Blue Ivy's hair.More photos below.                                            Unbalanced: 'I hate when a mother looks like a million dollars with their hair all done and the child looks like they haven't seen a comb since they were born,' wrote one of the 3,601 supportersLighthearted?  Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive. We have approached Turkey for assistance.” The President, however, stated that the delays were affecting the public’s perception of the administration’s commitment to addressing the security challenges.
