 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary. U.S TO LAUNCH ANTI MILITANT TV STATION IN NORTHERN NIGERIA.

                  The United States is financing a new 24 hour satelite TV channel in northern Nigeria meant to counter insurgencies by the militant Boko Haram and other groups in the region.A U.S official confirmed the project was under way but didn't give full details.The official said the United States would ''support Nigeria efforts to provide an attractive alternative to the messaging of violent extremists''.The project is a result of discussions with Nigeria dating back to late 2012 on ways to cooperate against Boko Haram and the content of the channel will be produced by Nigerians in Nigeria.
