 NDC STATEMENT ON COURT RULING Our attention has been drawn to a ruling by the Federal High Court sitting in Lokoja this morning, wherein His Lordship, Honourable Justice Isah Dashen, gave a ruling on an application filed by an unregistered association known as Peace Movement Party. The public knows that by December 2025, the Nigeria Democratic Congress  as an association complained of INEC’s refusal to register us as a political party, whereupon we proceeded to the Federal High Court. The Federal High Court upheld our constitutional right to freedom of association under the Constitution and compelled INEC to register us, which INEC did. Since then, we have started political activities, embarked on the registration of members, held congresses from ward to national levels, held conventions, and concluded primaries to all offices following INEC’s timetable. 116 PEOPLE FLYING AIR ALGERIE FROM BURKINA FASO,MAY HAVE CRASHED.

REUTERS/Xavier Larrosa           According to Algeria ASP state news and a Spanish Airline company Swiftair said today thursday that authorities have lost contact with an Air Algeria flight en route from Ouagadougou in Burkina Faso to Algerie with 116 passengers on board.Flight AH 5017 lost contact after it took off and there is now confusion about the fate of the flight and where it might be.The company Swiftair posted on it's website that the aircraft took off from Burkina Faso at 0117 GMT {2117ET} and was supposed to land in Algerie at 0510 GMT but never reached it's destination.The rate at which planes are disappearing and crashing is becoming alarming.
