Refreshing your memory, Baba Ijesha was arrested and sentenced to 5 years imprisonment for raping a minor, who is the adopted daughter of comedian Princess. Giving an update on the case in a recent interview, he said Baba Ijesha’s appeal process is still ongoing in court. He claimed that there was no evidence that he slept with the hole; hence, the judge didn’t sentence him to life imprisonment. Yomi stated that Princess called Baba Ijesha to shoot a skit, and the girl also made a similar statement in court. 2 WOMEN WORKING FOR BOKO HARAM,ARRESTED YESTERDAY.

                According to Director of Defence Information,Col.Onyema Nwanchukwu,after a woman named Hafsat Usman Bako was arrested earlier inconnection with the Islamist terrorist group Boko Haram,two more women were also arrested yesterday.They were intercepted on their way to the Sambisa forest.The two women are named Zainab Idris and Aisha Abubakar.It was discovered that the two suspects were travelling to Madafali from where they were to transt to the forest to re unite with their cohorts.Investigations revealed that the suspects led by Hafsat Bako,have the mission to recruit members into the female wing as conduct espionage for the Boko Haram group.The suspects lures ladies,especially widows and young girls by enticing them with male suitors who are mainly members of Boko Haram for marriage.Before their arrest,they were on a mission to take additional briefing from the leadership of the terror group.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up. Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
