 Morehouse defends students, faculty who turned their backs during Biden speech: ‘We are proud’ Morehouse College is praising its students and faculty after at least seven graduates and one faculty member sat with their backs turned to President Biden as he delivered his commencement address at the Atlanta school earlier Sunday. Morehouse said "peaceful assembly is core" to the school’s "social justice tradition," and its administration "fully supports and defends the right to peacefully protest and the expression of one’s views openly."  Given its most famous alumni, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Morehouse said it was "fitting that a moment of organized, peaceful, activism would occur on our campus while the world is watching to continue a critical conversation."  "We are proud of the resilient class of 2024’s unity in silent protest, showing their intentionality in strategy, communication, and coordination as a 412-person unit," Morehou

Love: Jennifer Butler, 29, pictured right earlier this year, is flying 5,000 miles from the UK to French Robertson Unit in Texas to marry Christopher Mosier, 23, left, leaving her three young kids who are all younger than 10             29 year old Jennifer Butler,a mother of three children,from the UK,is abandoning her children behind to make a new life with a 23 year old Christopher Mosier,a prisoner from the U.S.Her three children are younger than 10 years.She plans to move in with Christopher when he is released on parole in September 2014,leaving her children with their dad,from whom she split from in 2010.Jennifer Butler said ''Some people might think i'm bonkers for falling in love with a prisoner,and not everyone will agree with our relaship but Chris is a wonderfulman,sure,he made a few mistakes in the past  but everybody deserves a second chance''.Jennifer started writing to Chris in July 2011 after catching his profile on the website www.writeaprisoner.com,which helps would be pen pals write to inmate .Chris profile revealed he had been sentenced to 15 years in 2009 for burglary with deadly conduct and drugs convictions.He was a member of an armed gang that burgled a house and he had previous convictions for possessing cannabis.Jennifer  further said ''I felt sorry for him being locked up,nobody to talk to except other prisoners.Of course,i didn't condone his crimes but his still a human being and deserved to have a friend.I was really intrigued by his profile.It was different to the rest.Most of the guys were posing with their tops off but his was articulate and he was open about his crime'''.Hmmmmmm,women we can love ohhhhhhhhhhhh.More photos below.                                    Leaving them behind: Butler, seen center in May, plans to move in with her lover when he is released on parole in September.  Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
