 Otti Slams Julius Abure Over Continued Sale of Labour Party Nomination Forms Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, has strongly criticised the former National Chairman of the Labour Party (LP), Julius Abure, for proceeding with the sale of governorship nomination forms despite opposition from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and subsisting court rulings. The criticism follows a viral photograph showing Abure presenting a Labour Party nomination form to a former National Vice Chairman of the party, Ceekay Igara, in the company of other party members.                    The unfortunate thing about these case is that the supposed pilot is dead.54 year old Simon Wood a First Officer,who carried out the alleged crimes during stop overs in Kenya,Uganda and Tanzania.He was found dead after being hit by a train in August 2013,two weeks before he was due in court on charges of indecent assault and making indecent photos of a child.Nichola Marshall the lawyer representing 16 alleged victims age from eight to 20 said ''We allege that Wood was able to abuse the victims,by reason of his employment with the airline,in particular through his involvement with the airlines community relations work.The schools and Orphanages that our client attended were all in receipt of charitable donations from the airline,and wood played a key role in administering those donations,on behalf of British Airline.''
