  Tragedy Strikes As Promising Councillor Hon. Chukwuma Okpalauzuegbu Is Laid To Rest On Intended wedding Day  By Charity Ejiofor  A day that was meant to mark a joyful union has instead become one of deep sorrow for family, friends, and the Aguata community, following the sudden passing of Hon. Chukwuma Christopher Okpalauzuegbu, the councillor representating Amesi Ward. Hon. Okpalauzuegbu fondly known as Chuma, had been preparing to celebrate his wedding ceremony, an event filled with hope, promise and carefully laid plans. Loved ones, and sponsors, ready to stand beside him as he embark on a new chapter of life. In an unexpected and heart breaking turn of events, those dreams were cut short. POLICE COMMAND IN ONDO REACTS TO FALSE PUBLICATION ABOUT A LATE POLICEMAN BY VANGAURD NEWS PAPER.

            The Nigerian police in Ondo state,has drawn the attention of the general public to the publication of the sunday Vanguard,page 8 of 20th July,2014,captioned  ''Police officer dies in sex romp''.The police command said the entire story is false,baseless,unfounded,ill-motivated and complete imagination of the writer.The police Command said it was an Inspector of police who reported sick by himself at the station at llutitin and conveyed i a patrol vehicle to hospital and not in a woman's house as alleged,but died on the way to hospital which could happen to anybody including the writer.It was an Inspector that died and not an Assistant Superintendent of police.No woman was arrested in connection with the dead of any police officer in llutitun.This shows that the writer did not conduct proper investigation but based his story on figment of his imagination.ASP.Wole .F.Ogodo,Police Public Relations Officer,Ondo state.
