 NUT Protest : Wike Warns Against Politicising Insecurity The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has warned against politicising insecurity amid protests by the Nigeria Union of Teachers, FCT wing, over the killing and abduction of school staff and children in Oyo State. Teachers stormed the FCTA Secretariat in Abuja to condemn the killing of Michael Oyedokun and to demand the release of abducted pupils and teachers from Community High School, Ahoro-Esinle in Oriire Local Government Area. The FCT minister addressed the protesters on Tuesday, saying the federal government is on its toes working to secure the rescue of the schoolchildren and their teachers. Wike urged protesters to avoid turning the tragedy into a political issue and to give security efforts time to produce results. 3 NIGERIAN STUDENT,REJECTED BY SOUTH KOREAN UNIVERSITY FOR FEAR OF EBOLA?.

           According to sources,a South Korea University rescinded an invitation for three Nigerians who are to attend a conference and a group of South Korean medical volunteers also called off a trip to West Africa because of the growing concerns about the spread of the deadly Ebola virus.The Duksung Women's University in Seoul said in a statement the ''Politely'' withdrew it's invitation for three Nigerian students to attend an international conference that it is co-hosting with the United Nations starting today monday.Fear about a possible spread of the deadly virus had prompted a student from the university to post a plea on the country's presidential office website,asking for the cancellation of the entire event.The university has said it was going a head with the conference to be attended by students including 28 from Africa.Patrick Sawyer ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh,what have you done to my country's reputation ohhhhhhhhh?.
