 World’s Youngest Reigning Monarch , King Oyo, Dies at 34 King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV, the traditional ruler of Uganda’s Tooro Kingdom who became the world’s youngest reigning monarch after ascending the throne at three, has died at the age of 34. The monarch reportedly died on Thursday, with the Prime Minister of the Tooro Kingdom, Calvin Armstrong Rwomiire Akiiki, announcing his death on Friday. The cause of death was not immediately disclosed. However, Ugandan media reports quoted a government minister as saying that King Oyo had been critically ill and was receiving medical treatment in the United States. Reacting to the development, Akiiki described the monarch’s death as a major loss to the royal family and the people of Tooro. He urged members of the kingdom to remain united and calm while mourning the traditional ruler. 60 PEOPLE KILLED IN A CLASH THAT INVOLVED THE FULANI HERDSMEN IN NASARAWA STATE.

              According to the Nigerian police,Fulani herdsmen and farmers from the Eggon ethic group has left at least 60 people dead in a clash that happened on wednesday.Most people sustained machete cuts during the clash.The clash broke out yesterday in Narasawa state,a week after some Eggon villagers accused the Fulani herdsmen of stealing their cattles.According to Umaru Islamila a spokesman for the police said ''The report we have is 60 dead from the clash in Tudun-Ababu villiage.Some bodies were burned beyond recognition''.
