 Setting the Records Straight on  Citizen Asar Michael Sesugh's  Death The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,  EFCC,  considered it imperative to clear the air on some recent incidents at its Makurdi Zonal Directorate,  Benue State.   Operatives of the Directorate arrested 26 suspected cyber fraudsters on April 28,  2026.  They were profiled and kept in custody for further investigations after obtaining a Remand Order at a Magistrate Court.  Shortly after their arrest,  specifically on May 4,  2026,  three of the suspects sought permission to use the lavatory at the Directorate's  Holding Facility and were permitted.   They cashed in on the opportunity,  broke the toilet's roof and escaped from detention.  Several efforts were made to re- arrest them to no avail. A HOMOSEXUAL,STABS HIS FACEBOOK SEX PARTNER TO DEATH IN LAGOS.

                 A homosexual allegedly murdered his sex partner he met on facebook in a hotel room in Lagos.24 year old Michael Okorocha and the manager of the hotel situated at Oke Afa area of Lagos,was arrested over the murder of the 20 year old Okere Chinedu John.Michael Okorocha,allegedlly used a jack knife and sliced John's throat in the hotel room and he bled to death.Okorocha who resides at Mafon area of Ogun state,allegedly lured John who resides in Lekki Ajah area to the hotel to have sex with him.While they were inside the room,John resisted Okoracha's attempt to have sex with him and in anger Okorocha used a knife and sliced John's throat.After the incident,Okorocha reportedly lied to the hotel staff on duty that he wanted to buy something outside the hotel and he escaped.The police have charged Okorocha before Ebute Metta magistrate court with murder.
