 A Mother's Day Nightmare in Princeton, Illinois. A 3-year-old boy was struck by gunfire as police burst into a barricaded room, ending a frightening hostage situation. Multiple agencies responded to the Hummingbird Mobile Home Park in Princeton, Illinois, on Sunday, May 10th at 2:42 a.m. The initial call went out as a domestic disturbance but officers discovered much worse.  42-year-old, Anthony Rodriguez, had barricaded himself in a room armed with a knife. Anthony had taken several people as hostages, including Aurora Almanza and her 3-year-old son.  Multiple agencies were on the scene, including the Bureau County Sheriff's Office, Illinois State Police and  the Princeton Police Department.  Authorities attempted to negotiate but ultimately rushed the room when they heard screaming coming from inside.  Officials have reported that officers fired shots as they entered the room. ANAMBRA STATE GOVERNOR ASSURES IT'S CITIZENS OF NO EBOLA IN THE STATE.

                  On friday in Awka Anambra state,Governor Obiano made the clarification at the 2014 mothers summit and the inauguration of Caring family enhancement initiative of Anambra First Lady,Mrs Ebele Obiano.Obiano's statement came against the background of reported case of the return of the remains of an Ebola victim from Liberia to Anambra state.He said ''There is no Ebola case in Anambra state and by the grace of God there will never be.The rumour we have concerns one corpse that was brought from one of the West African countries.On our own we decided to take precaution.We were doing the proper thing to confirm that the corpse has nothing to do with Ebola.As we speak from preliminary reports.We have so far,there is no Ebola incident in Anambra state.I have told the police not to allow any corpse to be brought into Anambra by road or by air if that corpse does not have certificate confirming the cause of death.Wherever we see a corpse,we stop and find out what killed him/her before going further.It is only a precautionary measure as a responsible government to protect our people''.
