 Somali PM calls on Somaliland to cut Israel ties, urges reconciliation Somali Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre has called on Somaliland’s leadership to cut ties with Israel and to resolve disputes with the federal government through dialogue. Barre said relations among Somalis should be addressed through talks rather than confrontation, in remarks during a ceremony to mark the first anniversary of the establishment of North East State. In December 2025, Israel announced mutual recognition with Somaliland, a move strongly rejected by the Somali government as a breach of its sovereignty and territorial integrity and criticised by many countries across the world. “Regarding our brothers in Somaliland, I have nothing new to say. HALF OF A YELLOW SUN MOVIE IS NOW BEING SOLD FOR N150 BY PIRATES.

          The movie which was based on the novel written by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie and still being shown in Nigeria cinemas is now been faced with a pirate virus as pirates were seen hawking the movie as low as N150.It has been observed that the pirated version of the movie is being hawked around Lekki,Maryland,Agidingbi, Ikeja,etc traffics.According to Babatope,the sole distributor of the movie in Nigeria said ''We have already taken steps to deal with this issue by forwarding our petition to the Inspector General of police and Censors Board so as to take action and even criminalize anyone of the pirates caught''.
