 CSO/MEDIA REVIEW: HEALTH MINISTER PATE SCORES FG HIGH  ON HEALTH SECTOR REFORMS The Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Prof. Muhammad Ali Pate, says civil society organisations play a critical role in strengthening Nigeria’s health system by providing feedback, identifying gaps and helping government translate policies into programmes that improve lives. The CSO/Media-Led Mid-Year Review of Nigeria’s Health Sector Reforms and Policy Dialogue on Monday, Prof. Pate stressed the need for sustained engagement between government, civil society and other stakeholders to achieve better health outcomes. The Minister said the Federal Government, under President Bola Tinubu, recognises that rebuilding the health system after years of underinvestment will take time. Shocked: Jackie Chan has revealed he feels 'ashamed' of his son Jaycee (pictured right with the action star in 2005) following his drug arrest             Today wednesday,Actor Jackie Chan apologized to the public over his son's detention on drug charges in Beijing,saying he's ashamed and saddened.Jackie Chan wrote on his website that his son Jaycee Chan would have to face the consequences of his actions,but that they would do so together.''Regarding this issue with my son Jaycee,i feel very angry and very ashamed.As a father,i'm heartbroken''.31 year old Jaycee Chan and Taiwanese movie star 23 year old Kai Ko was detained last week thursday,becoming the latest high profile celebrities to be ensnared in one of China's biggest anti drug crackdown in two decades.Police said both actors tested positive for Marijuana and admitted using the drug,and that 100 grams of it were taken from Chan's home.One more photo below.                                                                   Trouble: Police said more than 3.5ounces of marijuana was found at Jaycee's Beijing home
