In a sermon, the pastor said a woman who reports her husband to the police after he slaps her is doing something wicked. He criticised Cassandra McMurtry, a pastor's wife, for advising women experiencing physical abuse to seek help and report it to the authorities. The pastor described the advice as "unbiblical trash" and argued that women should remain with their husbands even when they are bad spouses, citing biblical teachings on submission and marriage.
