 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. POPE FRANCIS,LOST TWO OF HIS INFANT NEPHEWS AND THEIR MOTHER IN A CAR ACCIDENT TODAY.

                       According to Argentina authorities,two infant grandnephews of Pope Francis and their mother were killed early tuesday when their car slammed into the back of a truck in Argentina.One of the Pope's nephew Emmanuel Horacio Bergoglio,who was behind the wheel at the time of the crash,was in serious condition.The children that died are age eight month and two years and they died with their mother.Vatican Spokesman,Federico Lombardi said ''The Pope had been informed about the accident and was deeply pained.He asks all those who share in his pain to join him in prayers''.Pope Francis has not been back to his native Argentina since being elected Pope in March 2013.The family was traveling on a highway in the central province of Cordoba when their vehicle slammed into the back of a truck and burst into flames.
