 NDC STATEMENT ON COURT RULING Our attention has been drawn to a ruling by the Federal High Court sitting in Lokoja this morning, wherein His Lordship, Honourable Justice Isah Dashen, gave a ruling on an application filed by an unregistered association known as Peace Movement Party. The public knows that by December 2025, the Nigeria Democratic Congress  as an association complained of INEC’s refusal to register us as a political party, whereupon we proceeded to the Federal High Court. The Federal High Court upheld our constitutional right to freedom of association under the Constitution and compelled INEC to register us, which INEC did. Since then, we have started political activities, embarked on the registration of members, held congresses from ward to national levels, held conventions, and concluded primaries to all offices following INEC’s timetable. POPE FRANCIS,LOST TWO OF HIS INFANT NEPHEWS AND THEIR MOTHER IN A CAR ACCIDENT TODAY.

                       According to Argentina authorities,two infant grandnephews of Pope Francis and their mother were killed early tuesday when their car slammed into the back of a truck in Argentina.One of the Pope's nephew Emmanuel Horacio Bergoglio,who was behind the wheel at the time of the crash,was in serious condition.The children that died are age eight month and two years and they died with their mother.Vatican Spokesman,Federico Lombardi said ''The Pope had been informed about the accident and was deeply pained.He asks all those who share in his pain to join him in prayers''.Pope Francis has not been back to his native Argentina since being elected Pope in March 2013.The family was traveling on a highway in the central province of Cordoba when their vehicle slammed into the back of a truck and burst into flames.
