 LASG ISSUES TRAFFIC ADVISORY AHEAD OF FANTI CARNIVAL The Lagos State Government has announced traffic diversions and restrictions ahead of the Lagos Fanti Carnival scheduled to hold on Monday, 6th April, 2026, around Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos Island. In a bid to ensure a seamless and hitch-free carnival procession, vehicular movement will be restricted along major adjoining roads linking TBS. Affected Routes are; King George V Road (by Mobil Filling Station), Flag House inbound TBS, Force Road inbound TBS, Onikan Roundabout inbound TBS, and WaterBoy Roundabout by Old Defence House. Additionally, all link roads to Moloney Road, such as Military Road (by Old Defence Building), Ajasa Street, Boyle Street, and Hawley Street, will be closed to traffic during the event. THE SISTER TO THE DOCTOR THAT DIED OF EBOLA IN PORT HARCOURT,ESCAPED TO ABIA FOR FEAR OF BEING QUARANTINED.

          According to sources,a sister of the medical doctor Iyke Enemuo,who recently died from Ebola virus,fled to Abia state to avoid being quarantined along with others who came into contact with the late doctor.One of her siblings,who is also a doctor,forced her to return to the quarantine centre in Port Harcourt.The woman helped care for her doctor brother as he suffered from the Ebola virus.Atlease 200 people who came in contact with Dr Enemuo,who died last friday in Port Harcourt,have been placed  in Quarantine for close medical watch.Dr Enemuo had contracted the virus when he was secretly treating a staff of ECOWAS who in turn had contact with Patrick Sawyer.A tweet i saw in the internet confirmed to me that Patrick Sawyer,had a mission at heart to spread Ebola virus in Nigeria.Read tweet below.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive. We have approached Turkey for assistance.” The President, however, stated that the delays were affecting the public’s perception of the administration’s commitment to addressing the security challenges.
