The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. According to father Mario Pulicini,he is responsible for the parish in northern suburb of Burunbura,named two of the nuns as Lucia Pulici,who was 75 and due to celebrate her birthday today monday and Olga Raschietti ,82.He said they were found dead in their dormitory yesterday sunday.The third nun,79 year old Bernadetta Boggian,was also found dead early monday morning.The killings appeared to happen at two separate times.''It is very difficult to know the reason behind the killing,but nothing can justify it''.The Catholic diocese in Parma,Italy said on its website that the dead of Pulici and Raschietti,appeared to have been ''The tragic out come of an armed robbery by a mentally unbalanced person''.Those two nuns had served in Burundi for seven years after working several years in the east of another central African state,the Democratic Republic of Congo''.
