  NBC bans Eedris Abdulkareem’s protest song ‘Tell Your Papa’ from radio, TV The National Broadcasting Commission has barred Nigerian radio and television stations from airing the trending song “Tell Your Papa” by veteran rapper, Eedris Abdulkareem, citing its “objectionable nature.” In a memo dated April 9, 2025 and issued by the Coordinating Director of Broadcast Monitoring, Susan Obi, the commission declared the track Not To Be Broadcast (NTBB) under Section 3.1.8 of the Nigeria Broadcasting Code. This section prohibits content deemed inappropriate, offensive, or in breach of public decency from being aired on Nigerian broadcast platforms. According to the NBC, while the song has gained momentum across social media platforms, its lyrical content fails to meet the standards of responsible broadcasting. A MAN NAMED UZOR,DUMPS HIS FIANCEE VICTORIA AT IKOYI REGISTRY AFTER STEALING N4M FROM HER.

           According to sources,45 year old Uzor Emmanuel who is married with three children deceived a 42 year old lady Victoria Adeleye at the Ikoyi Marriage Registry Lagos state and disappeared with her N4 million .The wedding was subsequently called off following Emmanuel's disappearance.Uzor and Victoria met at a church in Isolo,but unknown to Victoria,Emmanuel was married with three children.He lied to her that he was still single and needed to marry since he was growing old.Victoria who was desperate to get married,showed interest and became intimate friend with Emmanuel in which shortly after their courtship,Emmanuel proposed to marry Victoria.She moved into Emmanuel's flat at Bola Adeyinwa street Aswani,Isolo,where they started living together as a couple without the knowledge of their pastor and members of the church.To cover up their tracks before the church,Emmanuel suggested to Victoria that they need to go to court to consummate the relationship legally.Victoria gave Emmanuel some money to facilitate their marriage plans,but on the day of their court wedding at Ikoyi,he didn't show up.Emmanuel was later arrested following a tip off and he then confessed that he had a wife and three children,that he was only interested in Victoria Adeleye's money.He was charged before Isolo magistrate court for obtaining under false pretence and stealing under the criminal code.He pleaded not guilty though he was granted bail by the presiding Magistrate Mrs F.M Kayode,a baill of N500,000 with two sureties.The matter was adjourned till 2nd of October 2014 for trial but he will be remain in Kirikiri prison,pending when he fulfill his bail condition.
