 Setting the Records Straight on  Citizen Asar Michael Sesugh's  Death The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,  EFCC,  considered it imperative to clear the air on some recent incidents at its Makurdi Zonal Directorate,  Benue State.   Operatives of the Directorate arrested 26 suspected cyber fraudsters on April 28,  2026.  They were profiled and kept in custody for further investigations after obtaining a Remand Order at a Magistrate Court.  Shortly after their arrest,  specifically on May 4,  2026,  three of the suspects sought permission to use the lavatory at the Directorate's  Holding Facility and were permitted.   They cashed in on the opportunity,  broke the toilet's roof and escaped from detention.  Several efforts were made to re- arrest them to no avail. EBOLA VIRUS SPREADS TO LIBERIAN PRESIDENT'S OFFICE?

             On monday,the Administrative assistant to Foreign minister Augustine Ngafuan,died from the deadly virus.Her husband,a staffer in the office of President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf,is currently under quarantine.The names of the officials were withheld because the government has not officially notified the public about the cases,that is so close to the Liberian presidency.Minister Ngafuan's office is two floors below the floor now being used as the president's office.They are suspecting that the victim must have contracted the Ebola virus through her sister who had previously died of the virus.A praying woman {pastor} who laid hands on the victim sister had also died.On wednesday both the deceased Administrative Assistant in Minister Ngafuan's office and her husband had been told not to return to the office until after 21 days.
