World’s Youngest Reigning Monarch , King Oyo, Dies at 34 King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV, the traditional ruler of Uganda’s Tooro Kingdom who became the world’s youngest reigning monarch after ascending the throne at three, has died at the age of 34. The monarch reportedly died on Thursday, with the Prime Minister of the Tooro Kingdom, Calvin Armstrong Rwomiire Akiiki, announcing his death on Friday. The cause of death was not immediately disclosed. However, Ugandan media reports quoted a government minister as saying that King Oyo had been critically ill and was receiving medical treatment in the United States. Reacting to the development, Akiiki described the monarch’s death as a major loss to the royal family and the people of Tooro. He urged members of the kingdom to remain united and calm while mourning the traditional ruler. On monday,the Administrative assistant to Foreign minister Augustine Ngafuan,died from the deadly virus.Her husband,a staffer in the office of President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf,is currently under quarantine.The names of the officials were withheld because the government has not officially notified the public about the cases,that is so close to the Liberian presidency.Minister Ngafuan's office is two floors below the floor now being used as the president's office.They are suspecting that the victim must have contracted the Ebola virus through her sister who had previously died of the virus.A praying woman {pastor} who laid hands on the victim sister had also died.On wednesday both the deceased Administrative Assistant in Minister Ngafuan's office and her husband had been told not to return to the office until after 21 days.
