 NDC STATEMENT ON COURT RULING Our attention has been drawn to a ruling by the Federal High Court sitting in Lokoja this morning, wherein His Lordship, Honourable Justice Isah Dashen, gave a ruling on an application filed by an unregistered association known as Peace Movement Party. The public knows that by December 2025, the Nigeria Democratic Congress  as an association complained of INEC’s refusal to register us as a political party, whereupon we proceeded to the Federal High Court. The Federal High Court upheld our constitutional right to freedom of association under the Constitution and compelled INEC to register us, which INEC did. Since then, we have started political activities, embarked on the registration of members, held congresses from ward to national levels, held conventions, and concluded primaries to all offices following INEC’s timetable. MUBI EMIR IN ADAMAWA STATE,DID NOT ABANDONE HIS PALACE FOR BOKO HARAM-SPOKESPERSON.

HRH-the-emir-of-Mubi-Dr-Abubakar-Isa-Ahmadu           According to the spokesperson for the Mubi Emirate Council in Adamawa state,Chief John Babani Elias explained that the entire emirate observed with dismay the media propaganda regarding the emir leaving {escaping} Mubi for Yola on September 7,2014.The Emir never left Mubi at the wake of the insurgent {Boko Haram},rather as the Amirul Hajj for the 2014 Hajj operation for Adamawa state and as a leader,he went to Yola to meet with members of the delegation to make adequate preparations for the pilgrims.Chief Elias who is also the Danruwata of Mubi,cautioned the rumour peddler's to desist from spreading information that has no source and creating panic to the people of Mubi and the state in general.
