 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. OSCAR PISTORIUS WAS FOUND NOT GUILTY OF MURDER.

             Today thursday,Oscar Pristorius was found not guilty of the murder of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.The Judge dismissed the most serious charges against him saying ''The state clearly has not proved beyond reasonable doubt that the accused is guilty of premeditated murder.Viewed in it's totality,the evidence failed to establish that the accused had the requisite intention to kill the deceased let alone with premeditation.Clearly he did not objectively foresee this as a possibility,that he would kill the person behind the door''.Oscar was charged with one count of murder and three fire arms charge over the killing of his girlfriend on Valentine day 2013.The judge also reviewed evidence by neighbours,who testified of hearing shots and screams saying ''Many had their facts wrong.The media had huge coverage of the case and that could have affected some of the witnesses.I am of the view the witnesses failed to separate what they knew personally or what they heard from other people or what they gathered from the media.The accused himself was evasive on the stand and his evidence showed a number of defences or apparent defences.The accused was a very poor witness''.More photos below.
