  A 23-year-old Nigerian woman identified as Osarugbe, has died in Libya. African beauty products   She passed away at about 11:33am on Friday, April 4, 2025 after battling illness.    Anti-human trafficking advocate, Yakubu Oyiza and her team had been raising money to bring her back to Nigeria for better medical treatment as hospitals in Libya rejected her.    According to Oyiza, documents for burial, autopsy, and land to bury her in Libya have been arranged, all costing approximately 350,000.   She alleged that the family abandoned her since she fell sick and had earlier refused to go to Kano and pick her up the day she was supposed to be brought back to Nigeria.    In a Facebook post on Saturday, April 5, Oyiza revealed that some family members of the deceased called them asking for Osas’ properties.            The #BringBackJonathan campaign have been highly criticized by many Nigerians because they felt he is making a mockery of the #Bring back our girls campaign.It would have been o.k if the girls were rescued but for the mere fact they are still missing,that campaign slogan will not be appropriate for his 2015 election.The controversy surrounding the slogan made President Goodluck Jonathan to order the campaign banners,posters posted in different parts of Abuja by Goodluck Initiative for Transformation {GIFT} be removed.Goodluck Jonathan's spokesman Reuben Abati said ''Jonathan shared the view that the #Bring Back Goodluck 2015 signs,apparently backing his re-eletion next year were ''Offensive and repugnant''.President Jonathan wholly shared the widely expressed view that the signs which were put up without his knowledge or approval are a highly insensitive parody of the #Bring Back Our Girls hash tag.One more picture below.                                                                                                                                         #BringBackGoodluck2015

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
