Kim Kardashian wasn't willing to let public opinion stop her from fighting for people behind bars. According to revelations in the new book Citizen Kim: The Woman Who Created the Future by Jonathan Van Meter, Kim faced serious warnings from people around her when she planned to visit the White House to meet President Donald Trump and advocate for prisoners. At the time, some people reportedly told her that meeting Trump could ruin her reputation and end her career.
