 Poisoned Garden Eggs Kill 36 Cows in Plateau At least 36 cows have died and 42 others are critically ill after reportedly consuming poisoned garden eggs in Tafi Gana junction, Bassa LGA of Plateau State. Chairman of Miyetti Allah in the area, Ya’u Idris, said the garden eggs were deliberately laced with poison and scattered in the grazing area. Security agencies, including the GOC 3 Division, have visited the scene and promised a thorough investigation. The incident follows a deadly attack in nearby Zikke village that claimed 52 lives, raising fears of renewed tensions between farming and herding communities. Governor Caleb Mutfwang has since imposed restrictions on night grazing, cattle transport, and motorcycle movement after 7 p.m. to curb escalating violence.

EFCC operatives on duty           Godswill Oyegwa,who worked in the Information and Communication Technology {ICT} Department of a bank {name withheld}.He is now on the run because he allegedly conspired with others and hacked into the bank's computers,disbursing the funds to various accounts as they pleased.Godswill hails from Isoko south Local Government Area of Delta state.Mr Wilson Uwujaren,EFCC spokesman said ''They most likely got through to Godswill because he's an IT person in the bank.One saturday,he took the cyber gang to the bank under the pretext that he was going to carry out some maintenance work,allowing them access to hardware,and they commenced to penetrate the banks database.They increased the balances of some accounts,though no culprits have been arrested yet,the matter is still under investigation.The thieves have not withdrawn the entire sum stated,it was in the process of withdrawing some of the money that they were caught.Some of the criminals are being tracked''.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
