 NAFDAC Reopens Onitsha Drug Market After Month-Long Closure The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has reopened the Onitsha Head Bridge drug market, popularly known as 'Ogbo Ogwu', after a month-long closure for sanitization and regulatory enforcement. The market was shut down as part of NAFDAC's nationwide clampdown on fake and substandard medicines. To prevent a recurrence of the issues that led to the closure, NAFDAC has implemented strict administrative conditions for reopening. Shop owners are required to complete documentation and clearance procedures before their shops can be unsealed. A DOG KILLED A SIX MONTH OLD BABY YESTERDAY AT DAVENTRY,NORTHAMPTONSHIRE.

The six-month old girl was attacked at 10.30pm yesterday while being cared for by a relative, file picture             The picture above is the dog that killed a six month old baby girl yesterday.The baby was attacked by the dog when she was staying over at her female relative's home in Daventry,Northamptonshire.The police were called to the address around 10:30pm last nigh 3rd October 2014 after receiving reports that the infant was being savaged by a dog.Officers investigating the case are trying to determine whether the dog,which was later destroyed at the scene,was an illegal Pit Bull terrier.The dog dead body has been seized by the police to be determined by experts,to discover its genetic background.More photos below.                                  The baby girl was staying in a female relative's house when she was attacked by the killer dog
