 STATEHOUSE PRESS STATEMENT PRESIDENT TINUBU'S MESSAGE OF CONDOLENCE TO CHIMAMANDA ADICHIE AND HER FAMILY   With a deep sense of grief, I condole with Ms Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, her husband, Dr Ivara Esege, and the entire family on the passing of their son, Nkanu Nnamdi.   As a parent myself who has suffered the loss of a loved one, no grief is as devastating as losing a child.   I empathise with the family at this difficult time, and I mourn this sad loss with them.   Ms Adichie is a literary icon who has brought joy and light to many homes globally, and I pray she and her family find strength in the Almighty in this trying hour.   My prayers are with the family.   Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Federal Republic of Nigeria January 8, 2026

A NIGERIAN DOMINIC ADESANYA,CLIMBED THE FENCE OF THE WHITE HOUSE AND WAS ARRESTED BY THE SECRET SERVICE.

Dominic Adesanya: Instagram via Mega Don                  Yesterday wednesday,a 23 year old Nigerian man,climbed the fence of the United State White House and was nabbed by the Secret Service Agents,and their dogs.According to a spokesman for the Elite Agency he said ''A suspect who climbed over the White House fence wednesday was nabbed by Secret Service agents and dogs.A approximately 7:16pm {1116 GMT} an individual climbed the north fence line of the White House,the individual was immediately taken into custody on the north lawn of the White House by Secret Service Uniformed Division K-9 teams and Uniformed Division officers.The fence climber was identified as 23 year old Dominic Adesanya from Marlyland near the US capital.Charges are pending.Adesanya was unarmed at the time of his arrest.The subject is being transported to a local hospital for evaluation''.Dominic Adesanya's father later told ABC 2 that his son had been arrested at the White House before and that he wanted to speak to the President about how people were out to get him.Hahahahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa {can't stop laughing }.More photos below.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive. We have approached Turkey for assistance.” The President, however, stated that the delays were affecting the public’s perception of the administration’s commitment to addressing the security challenges.
