 ANAMBRA POLICE COMMAND RECEIVES AND AUGMENTS IGP’S MONITORING UNIT OPERATIVES ON ENFORCEMENT OF POLICE PERSONNEL WITHDRAWAL FROM VIP ESCORT DUTIES IN THE STATE The Anambra State Police Command today 8th December 2025 formally received operatives of the Inspector-General of Police (IGP)’s Monitoring Unit deployed to the state to ensure full implementation of the IGP’s directive on the withdrawal of police personnel from VIP escort and guard duties. The Commissioner of Police CP Ikioye Orutugu fwc mnips PhD reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to supporting the IGP’s reform efforts targeted at enhancing professionalism, discipline, and optimal deployment of police manpower nationwide. The CP noted that the withdrawal of these officers will help to strengthen public policing, improve response capacity, and ensure that more personnel are available for core policing duties across the state.                 Today monday the World Health Organisation declared Nigeria free of the deadly Ebola virus after six weeks with no new cases.W.H.O,Representative Rui Gama Vaz said in a conference today in Abuja that ''This is a spectacular success story .It shows that Eola can be contained but we must be clear that we have only won a battle,the war will only end when West Africa is also declared free of Ebola.When he made the announcement,officials present broke into applause.More pictures below.                                                                                                                                 THE HERO                                                                                                                                THE DEVIL.
