 PRESS RELEASE  6TH OSOM GAMES TODAY DECLARED OPEN BY THE NSC CHAIRMAN.  The National Sports Commission (NSC) is making headlines once again with its commitment to promoting Nigerian athletes through regular internal competitions. Today, Mallam Shehu Dikko, Chairman of the National Sports Commission (NSC), declared the 6th OSOM Games open in a colourful ceremony at the Moshood Abiola International Stadium in Abuja. This statement reinforces the Commission's dedication to their Renewed Hope Initiative for Nigerian Sports Economy (RHINSE) mandate and their goal of turning sports from a field of consumption to one of production. The OSOM Games, which stands for One Service One Medal, is an inter-security agency competition that aims to foster unity and camaraderie among the various security agencies in Nigeria. BOKO HARAM KILLED DOZENS OF PEOPLE TODAY IN ADAMAWA STATE IN FIVE DIFFERENT ATTACKS.

                 Today saturday,it was reported that suspected Boko Haram militants have killed dozens of people in five attacks in villages in Adamawa state that occurred after the government announced a ceasefire to enable 200 abducted  girls to be freed.Though the government cast doubt on whether the attacks really was Boko Haram or one of several criminal groups that are exploiting the chaos of the insurgency.In the first attack,suspected insurgents attacked the village of Abadam on friday night,killing at least one person and ransacking homes,while another assault on the village of Dzur today saturday morning,left at least eight people dead.Three other attacks in Adamawa state today saturday killed dozens of people.What is going on in these country?, because is just like somebody is somewhere trying to frustrate the peace between Boko Haram and the Federal government.One more picture below.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
