 LASG PRESENTS STAFF OF OFFICE TO NEW ONIȘẸ OF ISE KINGDOM The Lagos State Government has presented the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment to Prince Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, as His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, the Onise of Ise Kingdom in Lekki Local Government Area. The presentation was performed on Friday, August 21, 2026, by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, with the approval of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Executive Council, following the demise of the late Oba Ganiu Adebowale Adegbesan, Onise of Ise Kingdom. BRIEF HISTORY OF A 1745 JAMAICAN SLAVE.

                   The painting above was painted by Sir Joshua Reynolds in 1770.The picture belongs to Francis Barber,who was a servant and was born enslaved in Jamaica around 1745,and he was brought to England  by his slave master Colonel Richard Bathurst.When Bathust died in 1754,Francis Barber was given his freedom and left a sum of 12 pounds.In 1750,Francis Barber joined another household which belongs to Dr Johnson.Dr Johnson would not allow Francis Barber to perform demeaning task like buckling his shoes and Dr Johnson in all things treated Francis Barber as an equal.Most people in these present day have house helps,how many people treat them like the way they treat their children {equals}.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
