 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary.                    The painting above was painted by Sir Joshua Reynolds in 1770.The picture belongs to Francis Barber,who was a servant and was born enslaved in Jamaica around 1745,and he was brought to England  by his slave master Colonel Richard Bathurst.When Bathust died in 1754,Francis Barber was given his freedom and left a sum of 12 pounds.In 1750,Francis Barber joined another household which belongs to Dr Johnson.Dr Johnson would not allow Francis Barber to perform demeaning task like buckling his shoes and Dr Johnson in all things treated Francis Barber as an equal.Most people in these present day have house helps,how many people treat them like the way they treat their children {equals}.
