 South Africa’s Constitutional Court rules that Jacob Zuma is not eligible to run for public office in the May 29 general election. As a result, Jacob Zuma’s name will be removed from the MK list of candidates standing in the elections. Zuma will now use the martyr card, which might energise his base to go out and vote for his party.

''DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE'',NIGERIAN BREWERIES AND ROAD SAFETY COLLABORATION.

            Federal Road Safety Commission {FRSC} and Nigerian Breweries have signed a Memorandum of Understanding {MOU} on a yearly campaign called ''Don't Drink and Drive''.Mrs Stella Uchegu,the Public Education Officer of the FRSC said in a statement yesterday monday in Abuja that it was one of the ways of creating awareness on the hazards associated with drunk driving by the two establishments.She said the campaign,which had entered it's seventh year,was part of the company's sustainability journey tagged ''Brew a Better World''.The breweries boss said said that the programme would also assist the company to identify ways to contribute positively to the society,to protect water resources,reduce carborn emissions and adjust stainable sources of raw materials.Since the launch of the campaign in 2008,27 rallies had been held at major cities across the country and thanked the FRSC for being part of it.
