The Government categorically refutes claims of lopsidedness and emphasizes its unwavering commitment to the principles of fairness, equity, and national unity. All appointments are made in strict adherence to federal character principle, as enshrined in Section 14 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 (as Altered). EBOLA VIRUS HAS SPREAD INTO NEW YORK AS A DOCTOR CRAIG,TESTED POSITIVE TO THE VIRUS.

                           According to a New York based magazine,a Doctor named Craig Spencer in New York city who recently returned from treating Ebola patients in Guinea became the first person in the city to test positive to Ebola virus yesterday thursday.Doctor Craig was rushed to Bellevue Hospital center and placed in isolation at the same time as investigators sought to retrace every step he had taken over the past several days.At least three people he had contact with including his girlfriend Morgan Dixon are in recent times have been placed in isolation.The Federal Centers for Disease Control and prevention,which dispatched a team to New York,is conducting its own test to confirm the positive test of thursday,which was performed by a city lab.More photos below.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up. The Appellant is an actor. He acted in a script that he was invited to act by his colleague (PW1), Damilola Adekoya,” he said.
