 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary. F.G SAID THEY NOW HAVE A CEASEFIRE AGREEMENT WITH BOKO HARAM AND TO RELEASE THE GIRLS.?.

              Today friday the Nigerian Chief of Defence staff Air Marshal Alex Badeh said ''A ceasefire agreement has been concluded between the Federal Government of Nigeria and Boko Haram.I have according directed the service Chiefs to ensure immediate compliance with this development in the field.President Goodluck Jonathan's principal Secretary Hassan Tukur told AFP that an agreement to end hostilities had been reached following talks,as well as the release of 219 girls held in captive since April.He said he had represented the government at the two meetings with the Boko haram group to end hostilities and as well as the release of the missing girls.''Boko Haram issued the ceasefire as a result of the discussions we have been having with them.The announcement was made last night thursday.They have agreed to release the Chibok girls''.I hope Boko Haram will release these missing girls as soon as possible.More photos below.
