 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country. OYO STATE COMMISSIONER FOR HEALTH,CONFIRMS LASSA FEVER OUTBREAK IN THEIR STATE.

                       According to Oyo state Commissioner for Health Dr Muyiwa Gbadegesin,has confirmed the out break of Lassa fever in their state but he is assuring their citizen that the government is on top of the situation as well as curtailing it.For now the government of Oyo state is only aware of 10 cases and out of the 10 cases,three were brought into the state from another state.He said ''We are already working to bring it under control.We are doing the best to curtail it.We have what it takes to manage it very well.I only want to appeal to our people to be very hygienic and when they feel that something is wrong with our system,we should go to the hospital for proper diagnosis of their sickness and treatment.Most of this black rats in our houses don't have this virus.Most of the rats with this virus are from the bush.There are farmers who in the process of making cassava flour will cut their cassava and spread them on the road.When these rats see this cassava they go there to eat from them and in the process,they pee on them and through that they transfer the virus on the cassava.Anybody that eats out of the cassava flour made from such cassava might have the fever''.More photos below.
