  A manhunt is underway for man who shot a Granite City Police Officer multiple times. Officers in Granite City, Illinois, responded to a call regarding a unwanted subject near the 2000 block of Johnson Road at 2:20 p.m. on Friday, December 5th. Upon arrival, officers attempted to make contact with the suspect. The suspect opened fire on officers before fleeing the scene.  Unfortunately, one officer was struck multiple times. The officer was rushed to a St. Louis University Hospital. He is expected to make a full recovery.  A massive manhunt is now underway to locate the suspect. Authorities warn the public that the man is considered armed and dangerous.                   Today tuesday,Oscar Pistorius was escorted out of the Pretoria High Court by the police to a holding cell,after he was sentenced to five year jail term for killing of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.The late Reeva Steenkamp's lawyer Dup De Bruyn,who was hired by her family said ''A five year jail term for Oscar was the right sentence and justice was served''.Though the South African state Prosecuting authority has not yet decided whether to appeal against Oscar Pistorius conviction for culpable homicide.What do you think.One more picture below.
