 Legendary actor Manoj Kumar dies at 87: ‘Roti Kapada Aur Makaan’ director breathes his last in Mumbai Manoj Kumar, the Bollywood actor and filmmaker, renowned for his patriotic films, passed away at the age of 87 at Mumbai's Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital. The cause of his death was identified as cardiogenic shock due to acute myocardial infarction, according to medical reports. The medical reports confirmed that apart from a severe heart attack that took away his life, Manoj had been battling decompensated liver cirrhosis for the past few months, ANI reported. Following deteriorating health condition, he was admitted to the hospital on February 21, 2025. Popularly known as ‘Bharat Kumar,’ Manoj Kumar was an exceptional director and actor who was honoured with National Film Award. T.B JOSHUA TO TESTIFY BEFORE THE CORONER INQUEST PANEL SET UP BY LAGOS STATE GOVT,5TH OF NOVEMBER.

                Few weeks ago,one hundred and fifteen people,mostly South Africans lost their lives when the building which serves as a quest house of the Synagogue Church of All Nation.Prophet T.B Joshua who is the general overseer of the church will appear before a Coroner panel set up by the Lagos State government on the 5th of November 2014 to testify  what really happened on the 12th of September 2014 when a building used as a guest house and located within the church premises collapsed.The Coroner Magistrate O.A Komolafe and a team of interested parties had last week visited the scene of the incident to have a first hand understanding of the incident.though T. Joshua claimed initially that it was a plane that circled round the building,that made the building to collapse as it is seen in a video posted on youtube by members of his church who watched it on their Emmanuel T.V.At today's sitting of the inquest,the Coroner Magistrate stated that T.B Joshua mus appear before inquest to give a first hand testimony about what happened during the building collapse.One more picture below.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up. The Appellant is an actor. He acted in a script that he was invited to act by his colleague (PW1), Damilola Adekoya,” he said.
