 BAMIDELE OLUMILUA UNIVERSITY OF EDUCATION, SCIENCE AND TECHNLOGY, IKERE-EKITI RE-A VIRAL VIDEO OF BULLYING OF A FEMALE STUDENT IN BOUESTI It has come to our attention that a disturbing incident involving some  students of the Bamidele Olumilua University of Education, Science and Technology, Ikere-Ekiti (BOUESTI) has surfaced on social media platforms. A video showing one Miss Opemiposi Precious BOLAJI, an 18 year old 100L Mass Communication student beating her colleague identified as Miss Gloria AJAYI, a 100L Mass Communication student, in a private hostel outside the University campus has gone viral. In accordance with our institution's policies and extant regulations, the students who were captured in the viral video, appeared  before the Students' Disciplinary Committee at its emergency meeting held on Monday, May 6, 2024 for interrogations and appropriate recommendations, the report of which has been submitted to the University authorities.               The speech below is part of the speech read by Nigeria first Prime Minister Alh Tafawa Balewa he said ''Today is independence day,the first of October 1960 is a date to which for two years every Nigerian has been eagerly looking forward.At last,our great day has arrived,and Nigeria is now indeed an independent sovereign nation.Words cannot adequately express my joy and pride at being the Nigerian citizen privileged to accept from Her Royal Highness these constitutional instruments which are the symbols of Nigeria's independence.It is a unique priviledge which i shall remember forever,and it gives me strength and courage as i dedicate my life to the service of our country.This is a wonderful day,and it is all the more wonderful because we have awaited it with increasing impatience,compelled to watch one country after another overtaking us on the road when we had so nearly reached our goal.But now we have acquired our rightful status,and i feel sure that history will show that the building of our nation proceeded at the wisest pace.It has been thorough,and Nigeria now stands well built upon firm foundation''.Now my fellow Nigerians,have we achieved our goals after 54 years?,have we acquired our rightful status in the world?,is Nigeria now standing on a firm foundation?.We should put it in mind that upto today,parents train their children in Nigeria without the help of the Nigerian government,few parents worked for the government and many of them that are retired since in the 1980's have not received their pension.I just believe Nigerian citizens are just bearing the name Nigeria but they don't benefit from the system.Happy 54th Independent Nigeria and more photos below.

He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha.  Punish my abusers within 48 hours or face lawsuit - Student bullied by her classmates threaten school authorities The bullied student of British Lead International School, Miss. Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
