Refreshing your memory, Baba Ijesha was arrested and sentenced to 5 years imprisonment for raping a minor, who is the adopted daughter of comedian Princess. Giving an update on the case in a recent interview, he said Baba Ijesha’s appeal process is still ongoing in court. He claimed that there was no evidence that he slept with the hole; hence, the judge didn’t sentence him to life imprisonment. Yomi stated that Princess called Baba Ijesha to shoot a skit, and the girl also made a similar statement in court. 11 PEOPLE STAMPEDE TO DEATH IN A CHURCH PROGRAM IN ZIMBABWE.

              According to the Zimbabwe authorities,eleven people were killed and dozens injured in a stampede at a stadium in Zimbabwe,as thousands of people at a church service tried to leave through the same exit.Sources claimed that around 30,000 people packed into a stadium in Kwekwe,213km West of Harare,yesterday thursday evening to listen to Walter Magaya,a pastor who draws huge crowds.According to the Assistant Commissioner Shadreck Mubaiwa said ''When the service ended the congregation rushed toward a single exit,in a stampede that killed four people on the spot.Another seven were pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.Police tried to rescue people but they were over whelmed by the crowds.It is unfortunate that people wanted to rush out,which made it difficult to contain the situation''.,More photos below.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up. Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
