 ANAMBRA POLICE COMMAND RECEIVES AND AUGMENTS IGP’S MONITORING UNIT OPERATIVES ON ENFORCEMENT OF POLICE PERSONNEL WITHDRAWAL FROM VIP ESCORT DUTIES IN THE STATE The Anambra State Police Command today 8th December 2025 formally received operatives of the Inspector-General of Police (IGP)’s Monitoring Unit deployed to the state to ensure full implementation of the IGP’s directive on the withdrawal of police personnel from VIP escort and guard duties. The Commissioner of Police CP Ikioye Orutugu fwc mnips PhD reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to supporting the IGP’s reform efforts targeted at enhancing professionalism, discipline, and optimal deployment of police manpower nationwide. The CP noted that the withdrawal of these officers will help to strengthen public policing, improve response capacity, and ensure that more personnel are available for core policing duties across the state. 21 DEAD AS 2 FEMALE SUICIDE BOMBERS,BOMBED A MARKET IN MAIDUGURI TODAY.

                                        According to National Emergency Management Agency {NEMA} said 21 bodies so far have been removed from the scene of the twin blastd,while a medical worker said a local hospital where he was based had received 13 bodies.The whole incident occurred today tuesday in a busy market area in Maiduguri Nigeria.Witnesses claimed that they saw a woman entering the road side trading area behind the city's main market before blowing herself up.''While people were trying to help the injured,the second bomb blasted''.Witnesses are suspecting that the women are Boko Haram members and the Boko Haram may have been using the missing girls to bomb innocent citizens.More photos below.
