NUT Protest : Wike Warns Against Politicising Insecurity The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has warned against politicising insecurity amid protests by the Nigeria Union of Teachers, FCT wing, over the killing and abduction of school staff and children in Oyo State. Teachers stormed the FCTA Secretariat in Abuja to condemn the killing of Michael Oyedokun and to demand the release of abducted pupils and teachers from Community High School, Ahoro-Esinle in Oriire Local Government Area. The FCT minister addressed the protesters on Tuesday, saying the federal government is on its toes working to secure the rescue of the schoolchildren and their teachers. Wike urged protesters to avoid turning the tragedy into a political issue and to give security efforts time to produce results. According to the Nigerian Police,a 32 year old man,identified as Terkula Lorpuur was yesterday thursday remanded in Prison by a Markurdi magistrate court for alledgedly raping two sisters.The prosecutor INSP Terzungwe Kajo told the court that the uncle of the victims reported the matter at ''B'' Division police station Markudi on the 6th of October 2014.The two children are age 6 and 8,and their mother complained her children were not walking properly.''They took the girls to the hospital for treatment and the doctor discovered that someone forcefully had sex with them.When questioned,the victims revealed that the accused who was their mother's lover,had sex with them.The medical examination further revealed that the accused was HIV positive and had been on drugs''.The matter was adjourned to 4th of December for mention.These man has ruined the lives of these innocent children.What do you think?.One more picture below.
