 Edo Governorship Tribunal Delivers Judgment on Wednesday. The PDP vs APC battle over Edo’s governorship election reaches its climax.  The tribunal will deliver its judgment this Wednesday.  Regarding the judiciary system in Nigeria, many concerned Nigerians believe nothing positive will come out of Edo tribunal case because the judiciary do the biddings of the leaders at the top and is no longer fair. With report of mass rigging in the election, and the declaration of Monday Okpebholo as the governor of the state, many people gave up.

EKITI STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY SPEAKER ADEWALE OMIRIN,IMPEACHED TODAY.

             There has been rumours of Adewale Omirin being witch hunted by the Governor of Ekiti state,Ayodele Fayose,when Fayose shut down Omirin's petrol station in Ado Ekiti on the grounds that the location is against the environmental laws.The closure was done by the state government and it agents ordered Omirin to submit his construction approval documents to the state Ministry of Enviromental,but Omirin interpreted i as political intimidation and coercion,based on what a renegade member of the house,had told him about Fayose's planned action,because he refused to join PDP {Peoples Democratic Party}.Today Monday,Omirin was impeached by seven members of Ekiti State House of Assembly backed by well armed policemen.The seven persons were escorted into the state assembly complex by mobile Police Commander Selenkere Michael to carry out the Illegal act.The police prevented 19 others including Omirin{Speaker},from entering the complex earlier today.A new Speaker identified as Olugbemi,was elected immediately by the seven man house as Speaker.One more photo below.
